Bertha M. Rodriguez, Esq. is a committed and results-driven attorney who focuses her practice on immigration law and family law, proudly serving clients at Vasiliou Law. With more than a decade of legal experience, Bertha is known for delivering practical solutions, compassionate advocacy, and strong legal strategies for individuals navigating challenging circumstances.

Much of Bertha’s career has been devoted to working with underserved populations, ensuring that immigrants, families, and vulnerable individuals receive the representation and support they deserve. Her approach blends empathy with deep legal knowledge, allowing her to guide clients through complex matters with confidence and care.

Before partnering with Vasiliou Law, Bertha served as Managing Attorney at the Community Resource Center in Mamaroneck, NY, where she led a team assisting clients with immigration filings, removal defense, family-based petitions, and custody issues. Under her leadership, the Center provided critical legal services to hundreds of individuals each year and expanded its outreach through community workshops, legal clinics, and pro bono initiatives.

Bertha has also represented clients as a solo practitioner and at respected law firms, handling family law disputes, child support and custody matters, immigration applications, and appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals. Her thorough preparation, strong courtroom presence, and commitment to client advocacy consistently result in high-quality, personalized representation.

An advocate for education and access to justice, Bertha regularly leads legal trainings in both English and Spanish, empowering community members and mentoring new attorneys. She holds a Juris Doctor from Albany Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Bertha is admitted to practice in New York and the Southern District of New York. Beyond her legal work, Bertha remains deeply connected to community service. She is passionate about improving access to justice and is driven by a belief in the impact that compassionate, skilled representation can make in the lives of clients and families.
