Anastasios Sarikas has been practicing law for over 40 years. He was first admitted to practice law in Nebraska in 1982, and then in New York in 1984. After four years as a prosecutor in The Bronx, he spent many more years in the “trenches” in the Manhattan Supreme Court (Criminal Branch) representing the indigent.
“Over a period of twenty-five years, I must have tried well over a hundred jury trials. I then took this experience and brought it over to the ‘civil’ side of law practice (although there is very little “civility” in civil practice) where I daresay, it has served my clients quite well. Now I do both civil and criminal trials and appeals and have developed and refined my skills in the areas of art-related litigation and defamation, among others.”
Anastasios Sarikas has dedicated his entire career to fighting, and winning, for both the poor who were unable to pay for a competent legal defense as well as for those more financially fortunate. Unequivocally, he has done so without any discrimination or wavering in his outstanding performance and zealousness.
