Intent to Sell or Distribute

Drug possession charges are typically filed when a person is found with a small amount of an illegal substance for personal use. The severity of the charge depends on the type and quantity of the drug, among other factors. That said, intent to sell charges are filed when a person is found with a large amount of an illegal substance or other evidence that indicates they were planning to distribute it to others. This evidence may include packaging materials, scales, cash, weapons, or customer lists. Intent to sell charges are usually more serious than possession charges and carry stiffer penalties.

If you’re accused of selling drugs in any capacity, a drug crime lawyer from Vasiliou Law is here to fight for you.
