A product of Bismarck public schools, Rudra graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1968 with a double major in philosophy and math, and attended Yale Graduate School in the Philosophy Department. In lieu of military service, he performed alternative service as a surgical technician in Norwalk, Ct. He graduated from University of Connecticut Law School in l973, and passed the New York and Connecticut bar. After a brief stint as Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Norwalk, Ct., Rudra became a solo practitioner in Darien, Norwalk, and then Greenwich Ct. with a focus on real estate, litigation and estates. In 2005 Rudra returned to Bismarck and was admitted to the North Dakota bar.
Rudra’s practice includes litigation, real estate transactions, land use planning, landlord/tenant, and agricultural and general business law. He is admitted to the state and federal courts in North Dakota, New York, and Connecticut, and Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Tribal Court.
